Partnership rules

The cooperation between the Firm and the Client can be regulated by an ongoing Retainer agreement or a contract for specific work, agreed upon and executed on a case-by-case basis. The specifics of remuneration depend on the client’s requirements and the nature of legal services provided, including difficulty and workload.

These forms of remuneration are the most common in the Firm:

  • Flat fee – the client and the firm agree upon a fixed monthly fee for a particular set of services.
  • Service fee – the client and the firm agree upon a particular fee for the completion of a particular service.
  • Hourly fee – the client and the firm agree upon an hourly rate and the fee is calculated based on the number of work hours the service required.
  • Flat/hourly fee – the client and the firm agree upon a fixed monthly fee for a set limit of work hours; if workload exceeds the limit, additional hours are paid for per the agreed hourly rate.

A success fee, dependent on the outcome of a case, can also be included in the agreement between the Firm and the Client.
The list above does not preclude other forms of remuneration, agreed upon individually between the Firm and the Client.
